Commencing at 11 a.m. the fun will lie kept in full swing until 11 p.m. The young folk have been especially catered for by way of many and varied side shows, competitions and sports. The older people, too, have not been omitted from the programme. The runners and cyclists have not been overlooked, and the afternoon will he full of races for nimble-footed young men and maids. There will be competitions for decorated prams, push-chairs, tricycles and scooters, and a fancy dress parade. A big tug-of-war contest carries a prize of £lO. At night, besides the big and varied concert programme, including items by the Maori Entertainers, performing dogs, etc., there will he a torch-light procession consisting of members of the different friendly societies, fire bribade, bands and hundreds more.
