NEWS OF THE RENOWN.

AUSTRALIAN PROGRAMME. DETAILS PRACTICALLY COMPLETE, KEEPING IN TOUCH. (United Press Association.) (Received Jan. 31, 11.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, Jam 31. A wireless message from H.M,SiRenown states that the usual ship activities were interestingly varied, Lord Cavan giving an absorbing lecture on the Italian campaign at Piavo, where at the later stages he commanded the Tenth Italian Army, and had had the Prince of Wales on his staff. The Duke of York’s staff has practically completed the details of the Australian programme. The short-wave wireless plant is functioning admirably, and the staff of the fleet are confident of realising the ambition of- keeping in touch with Britain throughout the tour. Yesterday the Renown spoke to England, China, Australia and New Zealand, and could have reached other, centres easily. The signals wera strong and clear.
