PRAYER-BOOK REVISION.

APPEAL TO BISHOPS. LONDON, Jan. 18. The joint secretaries of the League of Loyal Churchmen and the Protestant Alliance have sent a letter concerning the proposed revision of the oraver-book to the several bishops who are attending the Lambeth Conferenco. ~ The communication assures the bishops of the support of a large body of Church members who are voiceless at convocation and other conventions. It expresses the hope that " in spile ol the malignant efforts of psendo AngloCatholics " the bishops will do Lheir utmost to prevent, a reversion to medieval practices which were rejected al the Reformation.
