TRADE RECOVERING.
FEWER UNEMPLOYED FOR WEEK. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) LONDON, Jan. IS. The first indication of Britain's new year hope of a trade recovery is contained in the latest returns of the Board of Trade. These show a reduction of G 3,000 in the number of unemployed in the United Kingdom, compared with last week. Nevertheless, the total number of unemployed is 1,432,000. This is 210,000 more than a year ago.
