MEETING AT WELLINGTON. LAMB WINS THREE MILES. (By Telegraph.—Press Assn.) WELLINGTON, Thursday. The cream of cycling talent of New Zealand was seen in action at the Basin Reserve last night, when the Wellington Centre of N.Z.A.A.A. held another successful meeting. Making his second and last appearance on the track in Wellington, R. W. Lamb, the crack Australian rider, carried off the three miles invitatioD event after a most thrilling race. Another particularly fine finish was provided by the Canterbury champion, F. Gross, in the one mile invitation race, in which Lamb secured third place.
