At the anual meeting of the Wellington Meat Export Company it was stated that the trading account for the year disclosed a net loss of £3220 10s 4d, which in., the circumstances, said the chairman, might be considered as not unsatisfactory when taking into consideration the difficult conditions of the Rome Market, and more particularly when it is remembered that the recent disastrous coal strike had the effect of depressing the values or all our exportable uroduce.
