YOUNG MAN REMANDED. (Bv Telegraph—Prcs= Association.) BLENHEIM, Monday. In the Police Court this morning. Robert John McNicol, aged 23, an arrival- from Nelson, was charged with I lie theft on Saturday of £9, the property of George Clifford Eden, of Nelson. Senior-Sergeant Clarkson staled that accused is at present on probation for a similar offence, and he asked for a remand in order to communicate with the magistrate at Nelson.' Tiie remand was granted.
