JVIOTORISTS' OFFENCES. A fine of £2 was imposed on Norman Ross,, who pleaded guilty in the Magistrate's Court at Hamilton this morning to a charge of dangerous driving. The Senior-Sergeant stated that defendant had travelled down Victoria Street at night at a speed between 25 to 40 miles an hour. For leaving a car in Victoria Street for a period longer than was permissible under the by-law, Arthur Smith was fined 10s and 7s costs. Order for Maintenance. On the application of Mary Ardern an order was made against Albert 11. Ardern for Ihe guardianship and maintenance of her three children. 11 was slated Ilia I. her husband had been contributing towards her support, but the sum was quite inadequate. Maintenance was fixed at 30s a week for applicant and 10s a week i,i respect of each of her three children, defendant to pay £2 2s costs-.
