HIGH BUTTER-FAT YIELD. A MATANGI HEIFER. At a meeting of the Watkato branch of the New Zealand Milking Shorthorn Association, held in Hamilton yesterday, congratulations were extended by the members to Messrs Banstead Bros., Malangi, on winning the assoprize of £SO for the highest record for the senior two-year-old in the Dominion.

Mr R. D. Duxfleld, president o.f the local branch, in conveying the appreciation of the association, presented Messrs Ranstcad Bros, witli a cheque for £SO. The first-class c.'o.r. record achieved by the milking Shorthorn heifer " Malangi Quality sth " is 11,752.31 b milk and 542.6G1b butterfat, which is 42.6 C lb of butterfat in excess of the high standard set by the association.
