ZENANA MISSION.

REV. DR. CARTER FOR HAMILTON. Bev. Dr. Thomas Carter, general secretary of the Zenana Bible and Medical Mission (inter-denomina-tional), will arrive in Hamilton to-mor-row. Dr. Carter, who is visiting the Dominion in furtherance of the work of the mission, will address a meeting in the Y.M.C.A., Hamilton, to-morrow afternoon, and will he welcomed at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Hall to-mor-row night at 7.3 U. lie .will address meetings every afternoon and evening until Tuesday. Dr. Carter recently had a very full

time in Australia. Besides speaking in churches and at missionary gatoerings, lie was welcomed by organisations, such as the Rotary Club, and thus was enabled to interest a very wide circle.' At Auckland, too, he had a very successful series of meetings. His book, “The Gospel to War-broken men,” is well worth reading. The account, of his work among the wounded, including New Zealanders, also the story of the “Home-going" of many of them, is beautifully told. The work of tlie Zenana Mission shows wonderful results.. At the annual meeting held in London Dr. Trcanor, a missionary’, said he had kept in touch with ail the Z.B. and M.M. stations, and that “every single one was showing blessing to-day.”
