VISITING GOLF PLAYERS.
N.Z. CHAMPIONSHIP MEETING. AUSTRALIANS TO MAKE TRIP.(United Press Association.) (Received August 12, 9.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, August 12. At a meeting of the New South Wales Golf Council, in response to aa invitation to Australian golfers to participate in the championship and handicap meeting at Miramar and Wanganui respectively, it was stated that, whether a representative Australian or New South Wales team was available or not, a party was being got together for the purpose of making tiie trip, thus inaugurating regular visits between the golf players of New Zealand and Australia.
