POWER BOARD LOAN.
RETICULATION OF THE DISTRICT. THE CENTRAL ELECTRIC AREA. The first of a series of meetings of ratepayers, arranged by the Central Electric Power Board over ils area, in order lo explain the proposal to borrow a further £05,000 Tor reticulation work, etc., was held at Ngahincpouri last eveningThere was a fair atendance, and after Iho proposal had been fully explained by the chairman of the Board (Mr Thos. Hinlon) and the officials, a number of questions were answered. A resolution moved by Mr C. Cochrane, seconded by Mr (1. Mills, "liiat all present give their loyal support lo the carrying of the proposal," was carried unanimously.
