"JJOTICH- is hereby given that the Central Electric Power Board proposes lo raise a special loan under the provisions oJ' the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1913 and its amendments. The purpose for which the loan is required is for Hie construction and erection of transmission lines transformer stations and oilier fittings and appliances for conveying- transmitting or distributing electricity in the KaramuPirongia Special Hating Area including the purchase of all necessary land materials plant and tools and all payments for labour engineer's lees plans and supervision and for compensation to owners of properly in respect of such works. is £OOOO. The proposed security for loan is a special rate of three farthings in Hie pound on the rateable capital value of all rateable properly in the Karamu-Pirongia Special Rating Area being the area defined by Order-in-Councii appealing in the New Zealand Gazette of 3rd December 1925, as included in the Central Electric Power District. 1L is proposed that the loan shall be repayable within a period not exceeding Thirty-six and a half years and to make provision for a sinking fund of not less than One per centum per annum. 11 is proposed to pay out of the loan the preliminary expenses incurred in conneclion with the scheme for which the loan is raised, also Hie cost of raising the loan and the interest and sinking fund for the first year.
