GUILTY OF BIGAMY.

EIGHT MONTHS’ IMPRISONMENT. WELLINGTON, Saturday. Leslie Knott, aged 32, who pleaded guilty to bigamy, was to-day sentenced by His Honour, Mr Justice Reed to 18 months’ impresonment. Accused married a woman in Australia, deserted her and her child, and came to New Zealand, where he married another woman and deserted her. He is now living with a third woman, who has borne him a child.
