WEDDINGS.

PAULSEN—PARKINSON. A pretty wedding was solemnised at tin; home of the bride’s parents, Pirongia West Road, Tc Rau-a-moa, recently, when Miss Gertrude Parkinson, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs .1. G. Parkinson, was married to Mr Ctanley Paulsen, oldest son of Mr and Mrs Paulson, of Glen Murray, Rev. Father Zanna officiated. The bride, who was given away by her falher, was charmingly gowned in a frock of ivory satin and silver lace, with the customary veil and orange blossoms. Her sister, Miss Margaret Parkinson, attended as bridesmaid, wearing a pretty gown of turquoise blue georgette, relieved with silver lace. Mr A. Paulsen was best man. MATEER —WILLIAMSON. A wedding of considerable local interest was celebrated at All Saints Church, Matamata, on May 2G, when Miss Mary M. Williamson, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs R. S. M illiainson, Taupo, was united in the. bonds of matrimony with Mr Robert .1. Malcev, third son of Mr and Mrs .1. Matee.r, of Matamnla. The ceremony was performed by Rev. C. W. Turner, and Mr P. Ingham presided at the organ. 'l’lie bride, who was given away by her father, was attired in a beautiful gown of white satin nmure, relieved with silver godeis. The handsome train was of beaten silver, lined with pink georgette, and the tulle veil hung from a coronet of orange blossoms and pearls. The bride was attended by the Misses Edna and Ivy Williamson (Kaipaki), as bridesmaids, and by the Misses Alma Miles and Uua Matcer as train-bearers. Mr Frank Mateer carried out the duties of best

man, and Mr G. J. Williamson acted as groomsman.

The reception was held at tlie residence of Mr and Mrs T. McDonald, Station Road, where a large party of friends and relatives sat down to Hie wedding breakfast. On their return from tlie honeymoon tlie happy couple will make their homo in Matamata.
