RURAL CREDITS.

DOMINION COMMISSION. INVESTIGATIONS COMPLETED. LONDON, May 23. Colonel J. J. Esson and Messrs W. J. Poison and P. 11. Cox, members of (lie commission appointed by the New Zealand Government to investigate the question of rural credits, have completed their inquiries. They sailed by the Ormonde en route for New Zealand to-day. Colonel Esson, financial adviser to the Government, Mr Poison, president of the New Zealand Farmers' Union, and Mr Cox, formerly an inspector of the Bank of Australasia, left New Zealand some months ago, having been appointed a commission to investigate systems of rural finance in overseas countries, with the object of providing information as to the best method of dealing with that class of finance in the Dominion. The commission was instructed to also study the question of immigration, ami to confer on the subject witlt the British authorities.
