*- NO TRACE SINCE SATURDAY. ROTORUA, Monday. Considerable anxiety is felt for the safety of three persons, Gustav Wolfrann, a settler, Hangi Douglas, aged 21, and a youth named Mathews, aged 10, the son of.a storekeeper, who left Rotorua in a 14ft. dinghy with an outboard engine for Ngongotaha at about 7 o'clock on Saturday evening, and have not been heard of since. It is slated the party left Ngongotaha for Rotorua to purchase some cases of benzine, intending to go on a fishing expedition on Sunday. As they failed to return t.o their homes their relatives became alarmed, and securing a launch began a search of Lake Itotorua. They were unsuccessful, and the launch returned this evening. A woman reported that she heard cries from Hie lake near Kawaha Point at '■> o'clock on Saturday evening.
