The. following barometer and thermometer readings, taken from 9 a.m. daily, and weather conditions are kindly supplied by Mr Jas. Bremner: Barometer. Saturday 30.0 .Monday 30.35 Thermometer. Friday .... 57 41 Saturday . . 57 37 Barometer high at 30.35. Indications are that fair weather will continue during the greater part of this week, with light southerly winds and cold nights. Saturday and Sunday were fair, with light variable winds. Mean temperature, 4-idcg.
The Weather Bureau wires for 24 hours from 9 a.m. this day: Indications arc for southerly moderate to strong winds and freshening and hacking by south to north. The weather will probably prove squally and changeable. Misty rain is to be expected and the night will probably prove very cold, with frost inland. The barometer has a rising tendency but falling again shortly.
