There will be an election in Ihe Newcastle, Kakcpuku, Orukau and Mungapiko ridings of Ihe County. A. Livingstone, E. F. Peacockc and J. ,!. ltyburn have been elected unopposed to represent the County on Ihe Central Power Board. J. S. Fisher J. W. Garland and V. Lye. have been elected unopposed to represent the County on Ihe Cambridge Electric Power Board, and J. T. Johnson, S. C. Macky, F. S. Parlane. A. L. Storey, J. G. Sutherland and J. B. Teasdalc, .iunr.. to represent the County on the Te Awamutu Electric Power Board.

G. S. Clarke and J. J. Ryhurn will be the County representatives en the Waikato Hospital Board.

KAWHIA

The six former Councillors: — Messrs A. W. Babbagc, C R. .Morris, A. G- Dent, J. Rolhery, T. B. Sandilands and J. P. Wright were relumed unopposed for their respective ridings.

For Hie Te Kauri riding only one informal nomination was received, necessitating a further election. Messrs Johnstone and Dent were •eturncd unopposed for the Waikato Hospital Hoard.
