THE NEW TREATY. NO CAUSE FOR ALARM. (Australian and N.Z. Press Assn.)' BERLIN, May 2. The German Foreign Minister, Herr Stresemann, lias broadcasted a speech regarding Ihe new treaty between Germany and Russia. He says there is no cause for alarm anywhere. The treaty only demonstrated that Germany and Russia desjred to live in peace and friendship a'nd renew good relations on the basis of the former treaty of Rapallo. Germany's initiative, he says, came from Locarno. She desired to extend peace treaties throughout Europe.
