IMPERIAL CONFERENCE

TO MEET IN OCTOBER. CANADIAN CONCURRENCE. (Renter.) OTTAWA, March 17. The Canadian Government favoured the calling of the nexl Imperial Conference in 1027 instead of in October this year. The fact is revealed in the correspondence between British and Canadian officials which was laid on the table in the Dominion House of Commons to-day.

Tile British Prime Minister, Mr. Stanley'Baldwin, intimated that the other Dominions preferred to meet in October and' that the British Government therefore concurred in the proposal ou February 19.
