RETURNED SOLDIERS.
WAIKATO ASSOCIATION. EXECUTIVE MEETING HELD. The monthly executive meeting of the Waikalo Returned Soldiers' Association was held last night, when there were present Messrs N. S. Johnson (chairman), Pile, Toombs, King, Baxter, Greene, and Morris. Sub-committees Were set up to organise and make any necessary arrangements in regard to the Anzac I Day parade and Poppy Day sales. | It was mentioned that last year the! observance of Anzao Day was ex-j ceptionally line, and the interest. kindled by me sale of the Flower of] Remembrance had a certain amount to i do with the spirit of reverence which: was so marked. j As usual, a number of pension eases i came up for review. In one, the j soldier wrote that 'while his appeal; was pending he had recovered his; health, (in Mr Greene's motion he j was congratulated on ids recovery. j
