COBHAM'S FLIGHT.
ENTHUSIASTIC WELCOME HOME RECEIVED BY THE KING. (Sydney Sun Gable.) (Received March 15 1f.30 a.m.) LONDON, March 14. Mr Cobham was escorted ■ to the landing place by a licet of 'planes, and was greeted by a huge, enthusiastic) crowd, lie was carried shoulder high lo where his wife was wailing, and subsequently, with his wife, visited Buckingham Palace, where lie delivered a message, to the King from the Governor-General of South Africa. His Majesty congratulated Mr Cobham on the success of his pioneer flight. Mr Cobham flew P 25 miles, from Pisa, slopping only at Lyons. lie beat the mail steamer Windsor Castle, which left Capetown the same day, by two days.
