SERIOUS ACCIDENT.
MAN INJURED.. A man named McEwcn was seriously injured by a fall of earth at Claudeiands at mid-day. McEwcn was employed on some sewerage works, when a fall of earth occurred, and before lie could get out of the way he was struck by the mass. 11,> was speedily extricated, and as il was found he had sustained some serious injuries lie was at once removed to the lvospital. It is staled his injuries consist of broken ribs and a broken collarbone.
