A very entertaining programme was .shown at, the New Strand and Frankton's Own Theatres last night. The internationally famous race track at Lalonia, Kentucky ,is the scene of the big and exciting climax of the swiftmoving story. Considerable interest will be taken in the big race scenes which conclude the picture. They were specially filmed for the production by Metro-Goldwyn cameramen during the classic race in which the French champion Epinard was defeated by an American horse. Three picture fights in "The Fighting Heart," give George O'Brien, popular William Fox star, ample opportunity to display his boxing ability. Billy Dove and J. Fai-rell MacDonald are cast in prominent roles in this latest John Ford production.. Seals may be booked at Lewis R. Eady and Son, Ltd., or by 'theatre 'phono 1422. THEATRE ROYAL. A splendid programme will be shown at the Theatre Royal to-night. Every-on-i loves a good laugh. The feature picture, "Paths to Paradise," stars the popular silk-hat comedian Ray Griffith, who will be remembered by his excellent work in tiiat recent great comedy drama "The Night Club." Loyal Patrons may look forward to a good night's entertainment. Excellent pictures will, support the big picture.
