AMATEUR ATHLETICS.
THE DOMINION COUNCIL. SEVERAL NEW MEMBERS. WELLINGTON, Friday. There have been some drastic changes in the personnel of the council of . the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association. Of last year’s council five members have not been re-elected. The new delegates are: — Auckland, W. V. Morton and L. A. Tracey; Canterbury, II- Austed and E. Guy; Otago, J. Taylor and J. W. Ileenan; Wellington, G. Lusk and R. W. McVilly; West Coast of North Island, R. Connop and F. Wilton. Among those re-elcctcd is Mr A. T, Davies, who lias for some years been chairman of the council, Mr F. Wilton, who represented Canterbury last year, lias l/een appointed as delegate for Wanganui.
TECHNICAL HIGH SCHOOL FIXTURE.
The Technical High School will hold its annual athletic sports meeting on Scddon Park on Tuesday next from 1 p.m. to 3.45 p.m. Already several preliminary events have been completed, and the events on Tuesday will be largely finals. The entries have been good, and there is promise of several good performances being registered. The Old Boys’ race will take place about 3.30 p.m.
