AWAKENS HOUSEHOLD.
BUT MAKES GOOD HAUL,
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Saturday.
A burglar entered a boardinghouse at Devonport at 2 o’clock this morning. While groping about the bedroom he awoke one of the boarders, and thereupon bolted, tripped, and fell down a stairway, awakening the whole of the occupants. The burglar got clear away with a gold watch and chain, a sovereign case, and a wallet containing a few pounds in notes.
