AGRICULTURAL SHOW.
INCREASE IN TAKINGS.
£4ll AT GATES YESTERDAY. The Waikato Agricultural and Pastoral Associations’ 1925 Show has turned out much more profitable than the previous year’s fixture, their being an increase of £lO9 in the takings. On both days last year, however, the woather was about as wretched as it could possibly be, and this was no doubt responsible for the Association’s largely reduced income. Wednesday and yesterday, the weather was ideal, and the returns were substantially increased. Nevertheless, they are still £B9 below the 1923 takings; £4ll was taken the entrance gates yesterday. The returns for the last throe years arc:— 1923 £522 1924 £204 1925 £433
