HOROTIU.

Concert. A very enjoyable concert was given by the Ngaruawahia Busy Bees in the Horotiu Hall on Friday, November 13. The hall had been tastefully decorated; The proceeds were in aid of the Presbyterian Mission Fund. The programme consisted of pianoforte solos, duets, songs, recitations and tableaux. The Busy Bees were assisted by pupils of the Horotiu Sunday School who contributed several items. There was a fair attendance, £2 17s being taken at the door. The Busy Bees performed very well and much credit is due to Mrs Limmcr, who trained them. The concert was brought to a close by the singing of the National Anthem, after which supper was given to the visitors and local performers by members of the Horotiu ladies P.W.M.U.'
