DAIRYING RETURNS.

PAYMENTS FOR MONTH, The gross payment made for butterfat in the Paeroa district during last month, amounted to £55,000, which sum was pail out by the Paeroa office of the Dairy Company last week. The advance rate was Is 6d for superfine, fur both butter and cheese. The total butter-fat received during the month of September was 738,9061 b, which gives an increase of 2i,8821b over the total for the same month last year. Of this total the cheese suppliers contributed 97,9611 b, which showed a marked increase over the butter-fat received for cheese-making last September.

Notwithstanding the adverse weather conditions there has been a slight increase in the total output of butter at the Paeroa, Ngatea, and Waihou butter factories. The total quantity oT butter manufactured for the month was 351 tons.
