Powdered borax will get rid of cockroaches if used every night for two or three weeks. Scatter it round their holes, over the lloor, on shelves, and wherever the creatures are known to congregate. In some bowls and vases it is difficult, when arranging flowers, to make iheiii stand up, but if a piece of wire nelting is pressed into a ball, placed in Ilifi howl, and the sterns of the flowers shirk into it, Ibis difficulty is overcome.
