LAWN TENNIS.

THE HAMILTON OLUBi ANNUAL MEETING. The annual general meeting of the Hamilton Tennis Club was held at Toorak Chambers. There was a good attendance of members, Mr W. G. Fabling (President) cc-cupying the chair. The annual report (which appears on page 16) was adopted. The election of officers for the ensuing year was as follows dent: W. G. Fabling, Esq. (re-elect-ed) ; Vice-Presidents, Messrs A. E. McCracken and W. Kay; Secretary, Mr A. E. Gibbons (re-elected) ; Treasurer, Mr L. Champion fre-elected) , Oom'mittee: Messrs E, McCarroll. C Marquand, R. W. Norrin, C. Stevenson and D. Seymour, Mesdames Austin and Craig, Miss Wilkinson: Auditor, Mr E. R. M-c. Fittall (re-elaclpd). Mr Scobie was appointed supervisor of the school players. It was decided to officially open the season op. Saturday, October 4th. Great appreciation was expressed of the manner in which the Club's caretaker, Mr E. Carter, had carric: out his duties in the past season. The splendid playing surfaces he provided were the subject of much favourable comment, while the assistance he had given in connection with the beautifying of the surroundings had been most valuable. Several resignations were receiv-d and a number of new members elected.

Altogether prospects for tbje ensuing season arc bright, and the Club's facilities will be fully taxed.

ST. ANDREW'S CLUB. The annual meeting of the above Club was held in the Clandelands Hall, when there was a good attendance over which Mr C. L. Mac Diarmid presided. The annual report showed that a most successful season .had been experienced, while the balance-sheet showed a credit balance of £ls. The election of officers was as follows:—President, G. L. Mac Diarmid. Esq. (re-elected) : Vice-Presidents. Miss Prentice, Dr. H. Douglas, Messrs W. Gnodfellow. K. P. Bade, R. Madill, .1. and Geo, Boyo.s; Secretin", Mr D. Mc L. Ross; Treasurer. Miss If. Uenry; Committee: Messrs K. P. Earie, R. Chapman, G, Drube, and Aitken, Misses Howlett, Hayes,. Curoming. Grocott, St, <seor£re and Henry. Delegate to Waikatq' Lawn Association. Mr K. R. Bade.
