RETAINED STEAMER.
LOADED WITH GERMAN ARMS. BENEATH COVERING OF SAND. (Sydney Sun Cable.) Received September 20, 11.30 a.m. CAPETOWN, September 19. The stamer Nordmark (which was detained by the Customs authorities at Durban) was loaded with a full cargo of German guns and ammuni(Lmi. These were subsequently covered with sand at an uninhabited island off the Gold Coast, It is not known where the, vessel coaler). She was probably forced into Durban.
