Alajor-General Sir WiWam Brancker, Director of Civil Aviation, at a conference at the Institute of Transport at Wembley, expressed the opinion that about three years would pass before the first two airships now being constructed would be flying, after which there would be possibly another two years before the establishment of a regular bi-weekly service to India.
