Total imports of butter into United Kingdom for August, 192'.. were tr.S.OOO ewts.. as compared with 409,000 cwts. for the corresponding period last v<>ar. We quote: N.Z. butter, sailed 2088, exceptional brands 2125; Danish 2245; finest Australian, salted 200 s, unsaltcd 2 Oils. Cheese. —Market slow. N.Z, Vvhito 01s, coloured D2s, stored cheese 2b less: Canadian e.i.f. quotation 02e 6d; imporls 281,000, as compared with :P28,0u0 for corresponding period last year.
