PRISONERS SENTENCED.

By Telegraph.—Press Association. AUCKLAND, Thursday. In the Supreme Court John Graham and Albert Edward Duncan, two men with bad crime records, were sentenced for breaking, entering and theft of jewellery valued at £305. The former received four years' hard labour and the latter two years' hard labour, concurrent with current sentences. Leslie Robert White, stated to have been involved in the disposal of the stolen jewellery, on a charge of theft was sentenced to 12 months' imprisonment; John Desmond Lauchlan Gobbie, breaking,, entering and theft at Pukekohe, three years' probation; Robert James Connell, aged 24, receiving stolen property, two years' probation conditionally on paying £3O to the probation officer in 12 monthly instalments.
