The following barometer and thermometer readings, taken from 9 a.m. daily, and weather conditions, are kindly supplied by Mr James Bremner: Thermometer. Wednesday 68 54 Thursday .. 64' 52 Barometer. Thursday 29.95 Friday 30.0 Barometer unsteady at 30.0. Indications are for generally fair weather, with probably an occasional shower, with light southerly winds. Yesterday was unsettled, I.3iin. of rain falling. Winds were northerly. Mean temperature 56 degrees. The Government Meteorologist reports:—The indications are for moderate to strong southerly winds., There is' a prospect of fair to cloudyweather, with scattered showers, and the weather should improve. Barometer rising slowly.
