LEAGUE FOOTBALL.
WEEKLY MEETING. The'weekly meeting of the Hamilton Rugby League was held on Tuesday. Mr G. Gilmour occupied the chair, there being a full muster of delegates. Permission was granted to the United Clnb to use the dressing sheds at Hinemoa Park during each week for training purposes'. Applications for registration of 15 new players were received and endorsed. An application from L. Stewart (Athletic Club) for transfer to Marist Bros.’ Club (Auckland), was fully discussed.. It was resolved not to grant this transfer, hut fo refer all correspondence in-connection with 'the application to the South Auckland Rugby League. Reports froußbotb Grounds Committee and Junior Advisory Board w 7 cre received and adopted. A report from the League’s representative (Mr R. IT. Wood) on the Hamilton Diamond Jubilee, was received. —Discussion followed, and recommendations from the League were given to the representative. It was resolved to endeavour to arrange a match with the Marist Bros'. (Christchurch) team, on the Wednesday following the team’s engagement at Auckland. The Junior Advisory Board advised that Messrs W. Taylor and Edwards had been appointed junior selectors for this sesaonFixtures for Saturday are:— Seniors.—Frankton v. United, Hinemoa Park No. 1; referee Mr J. J. Herrick (line • umpires, Messrs Gallagher and Vernall). Athletics v. City. No. 2 ground; referee, G. A. Saunders (line umpires, Messrs J. Brady and A. Prickett). v. Frankton, No. 1 ground: referee Mr J. J. Herrick. Athletics v. City, No. 2 ground; referee, Mr J. Brady. Timekeepers, Messrs H. A. Raven and P. Brady.
