“I have now seen a good bit of the work of the Plunket Society, and the outstanding point, as far s I can see, is the modesty of those who control the institution,” remarked Mr Will Appleton, when speaking at the opening of the Plunket Mothercraft Home in Wellington. "The people of Wellington, and indeed the. people, of the Dominion, do not realise the tremendous amount of good work that is being done by those ladies who have been responsible for the development of the society up to the present time. Dr. Truby King seems to have been fortunate in the selection of people he got for this work, and just here I would like to pay a tribute to the enthusiasm of the founder of the society. Dr. Truby King was an enthusiastic worker with us in connection wtih our appeal, and not only did he give a handsome contribution himself, hut he was' responsible for most of the enthusiasm that prevailed amongst members of the committee.” Both given the inocK-out hy "NO RUBBING” Laundry Help—hard wort and disease bacteria concealed in soiled clothing. It's hygienic. 14
