Surprising scenes were witnesssed at the first Sunday evening cinematograph religious service at Sutton. Two thousand people attended, including many courting couples. Band items, popular hymns. Scripture readings ami prayers were somlwichcd between the pictures. Smoking and conversation was allowed. The Rev. Mr W'OoUcombC, rector of Sutlon. spoke while sitting on a table, and was loudly cheered.
