Tlie following barometer and thermometer readings, taken from 9 a.mdaily, and weathsr conditions, are kindly supplied by Mr James Bremner:
Thermometer. Saturday 70 50 Monday 68 42 Barometer.
Monday 29.55 Tuesday 29.80 Barometer rising, and now registers 29.80.
Indications are for generally fair -wcatlier, with brisk westerly winds, later from a southerly direction, and colder nights. Yesterday was generally fair. Light rain fell amounting to 0.03 inches. Winds were mostly northerly. Mean temperature 60 degrees.
The Weather Bureau wires:—The indications arc for variable and moderate breezes but southerly prevailing. Weather cloudy to overcast. Bain probable. Barometer unsteady.'
