The following barometer and thermometer readings, taken from 9 a.m. dafly, and weather conditions, are kindly supplied by Mr James Bremner:

Thermometer. Friday 70 50 Saturday 70 50 Barometer. Saturday 29.50 Monday 29.55

Saturday and Sunday were unsettled, with 0.90 points of rain. Winds were northerly. Moan temperature 55 degrees. Barometer low at 29.55, with rising tendency. ■ Indications arc for generally fair weather, with occasional heavy showers. Winds variable, mostly from a northerly direction, later from south by west, with improved weather conditions'.
