MACLAREN’S XI.’S TOUR. LOSS OF £1929 3s Gel. By Telegraph.—Press Association. WELLINGTON, Saturday. According to the New Zealand Cricket Council’s annual report the tour of MacLaren’s team resulted in a losg of £1929 3s Gd. Half of this was borne by the M.C.C. After providing for the loss, the assets will show a balance over liabilities of £2BG. The deficit would have been greater still had the Melbourne Cricket Club not refunded the ground fees totalling £l43—a generous act, which the Council handsomely acknowledges.
