MRS JANE HARWOOD.

A very old resident of the district In the person of Mrs Jane Harwood, wife of Mr Chas. Harwood, the wellknown carrier passed away at tier residence, Rosstrevor Street, yesterday, at the age of 72 years. Thu deceased lady, jwho wtas born in the North of Ireland, arrived in New Zealand in 1879, in the ship “Loch Dee,” and settled in Hamilton, where she has resided ever since, ana where she was well-known and highly respected. She is survived by her husband, three sons and two daughters.
