WESTFIELD SALES. . PRICES FOR" FAT STOCK. (By Telegraph.—Special to Times.) AUCKLAND, Wednesday. Messrs Alfred Buckland and Sons, (Ad., report:—At our weekly Wcslflcld fat stock market, our. supply of beef totalled 462 head, comprising 377 steers, 82 cows and heifers, and 3 bulls, the quality being well up to Hie average. There was again a very keen demand. Last week's advance was easily sustained, and in many cases' exceeded. Extra choice ox sold to £1 J7s per 1001 b; choice and prime ox £1 14s' 6d to £1 10s Od, ordinary and plain ox £1 lis lo £1 13s Gd, prime ung cow and heifer beef £1 8s to 13s, ordinary cow beef £1 is to £1 •ough beef 5s to 15s; extra heavy , steers ranged in price from £tS \ £l9 15s, heavy prime steers ,i £lB ss, ligbt prime steers £lO :> £l2 10s, unfinished and small ' £9 15s-; exLru heavy prime young
and heifers, £ll to £l2 ss. heavy c young cows and heifers £9 5s to 15s, lighter £7 15s to £9, other 1 >vs 30s to £7 10s; bulls £1 10s to • ss'. The highest average was for .urteen steers from Mr B. Field, Waemga, £lB 7s.
