HAMILTOP* CLUB. A grade; championship. WON BY BELL. The Anal in the A grade championship was played to-day on St. Andrew's links between Messrs N. Bell and E. T. Tate over 3G boles. Considerable interest was taken in the event. Bell won the match, 0 up with 8 to play. Tate was weak ou greens, and missed a number of easy putts.
LADIES’ CHAMPION SKIP. ' By Telegraph—Press Association. NELSON, Friday. The New Zealand ladies’ championship golf tournament was continued to-day in fine weather. The first round Of the championship and the Coronation medal were taken. Miss Bell beat Miss Monson in the championship, 8 and 7, and the Coronation medal resulted in a tie between Miss Watson and Miss Brewster, with 82 net. They play off on Monday. Miss Payton had the best gross score with 87.
