CO-OPERATION.

(To the Editor.) Sir, —Being present at the annual meeting of the N.Z. Co-operative Dairy Company yesterday, the general good tone was a fact worth noting. We knew that the Bacon Company would be the ham-bone of contention, and open discussion showed the -various viewpoints. One speaker very well suid that "business must be ruled by the heart," and we 6ay that if this is put into effect the spirit of co-opera-tion must exist. We have little time, however, for those who say that it can only be ruled by the head. It spells faiure in the long run. The way yesterday's business was carried through was a credit to ail concerned. What we say unto you we eay unto all—- " Co-operate, it pays."—l am, etc., TAMAHANA.
