Delegates from the Central Executive Committee have arrived at Moscow from Turkestan, and reported that 387,000 of the population in the Ferghana districts arc doomed to starvation.

The newspaper Invcstia reports that the malaria scourge is rapidly increasing throughout Russia, a number of villages being completely wiped out.
