THE WEATHER.
The following barometer and thermometer readings, taken from 9 a.m. daily, and weather conditions, are kindly supplied by Mr James Bremner:
Thermometer: Monday 56 32 Tuesday .... 56 26 Barometer. Tuesday 30.10 Wednesday • 30.25 Yesterday was fair, with southerly winds, and six degrees of frost this morning.' Mean temperature, 41 degrees. Barometer high at 30.25. Indications are for continued fair weather, with light southerly winds and cold nights.
t The Weather Bureau wires: Tho indications are for easterly winds, strong to gale at times, and hacking by east to north. The weather appears likely to be cloudy and unsettled. Rain probable, and the night will probably be very cold, with frosts inland. The barometer has a falling tendency.
