School Matches.
Mr H. Bishop brought up the matter of school match fixtures. It was understood that these fixtures were to be arranged by Mr G. A, Care,- of Leamington, and Mr G. Jones, headmaster of the Cambridge School. In the early stages this had been done, but latterly Mr Care had arranged the fixtures without consulting Mr Jones. He would like to see the matter cleared up. Mr Jones said that apart from the fact that lie was not consulted in the matter, he didn't think it fair that all the matches between Cambridge and Leamington should be played at Leamington. Mr Care explained that Hautapu had to be considered, and that ir the Cambridge ground was in use Hautapu would have to travel all the way across to Leamington, which ho did not think necessary. , ■ After a lot more discussion on the subject, it was' decided to refer the matter to the executive to deal with.
